It’s been a while since I’ve been able to really enjoy a Pokémon game, but Z-A has the sauce. It also has a plethora of weird NPCs that make the world feel distinctly odd in a way I haven’t seen Game Freak embrace since Black/White.

Street Fighter VI might just be my favorite SF game (sorry, SFIVAE!) Just went through story mode as C. Viper and every DLC character has felt fun to play. If they ended it here, they had a good run but I hope they do a few more years before calling it a day.

Last night I completed And Roger in one sitting on my Switch. While the story didn’t totally land for me, I was impressed by the game’s ability to take simple gameplay mechanics and marry them with the narrative in interesting ways throughout the entire session. #ILoveSadVideoGames

Just ran credits on Cronos: The New Dawn. Great Long Halloween video game material. It’s got a bit of a lull in the middle, but the atmosphere and story really captivated me. Thinking about picking at NG+ over a long time.
I did not expect this big a swing from Bloober Team. I’d love a follow up.

The more I play Cronos: The New Dawn, the more my expectations go up. This isn’t just a Dead Space clone. There’s some real freaky spooky stuff going on here and I dig it.
