I use WaniKani now. If Japanese is a language you're interested in, I think it's a really good supplement. It's focused entirely on kanji though, so it's no good as a primary learning tool.

I did Duolingo for five years for Japanese. It was rocky at first (kanji support was lacking) and it got better with time... but by the end it felt like more of a chore than actually learning much. That was before they started adding AI features though. I'm sure it's much worse now.
