Shadow accomplished poops in the middle of two different crosswalks this morning. It's definitely a highlight.

I like Alexander skarsgård fine as an actor, but as a sexless MURDERBOT?!? no. not even close in my head canon.

More than 60 major moves that President Trump and his administration have made in his first 23 days, including executive orders and agency memos, have aligned with proposals in the Project 2025 blueprint, according to a New York Times analysis.
How Trump’s Directives Echo Project 2025
President Trump attempted during his campaign to distance himself from the right-wing blueprint to overhaul the federal government, but many of his administration’s actions so far have mirrored it.

"Companion" is a fantastic film. The lead actress's fragile smile is perfect. a lot of Chekhov's gun in delightful ways.

All I can really say at this point is if everyone isn't watching how trans people have lost basic rights and protections on a scale that hasn't been seen in decades in the span of 72 hours and realizing that even if you aren't trans there's nothing stopping it from happening to you, you're a fool

Shadow will give in now and then and let a foster dog cuddle with him. Often he'll decamp for the bedroom sulk and noisily demand extra attention from me. This #muttville foster is Cinder and she's mostly a people snuggler.

actual ice on the windshield! it's been a while. also: at dispatch, supervisors were talking about a break in in the vehicle lot. an unsuccessful hotwiring of a truck. lots of useful critique on proper & improper methods.

watched the Brutalist. at the end feeling a bit "meh." the first part has a lot of potential! the filmmaking and cinematography are nice. the 2nd part with some I guess shocking bits was muddled. yes, yes tortured artist with a vision. the character just seemed so set apart from everyone.

Happy Nosferatumas! Definitely worth seeing in the theater. The fear of men of the (uncanny) power of women (and sex) and that includes gruesome not-quite-men. Well I guess there's a lot of fear of the uncanny not-quite-man too. and lots of glossy furred rats!

I am positive if I eat it in an accident, my last words will be "oh shit!" which is kind of a bummer. I'll be it's one of the more common phrases. What are other surprise ending word, like for those who don't swear even? just "Noooo!" like in comic books?

In construction, I know lots of people w/injuries. For a while, insurance was covering amazing drugs that seemed to help pain issues...until they didn't. Lately people w/severe injuries go through weeks & months of physical therapy before enlightening (expensive) tests. w/worse issues resulting.
