Today is the national day of awareness for missing & murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two spirit people. It’s a solemn reminder of the ongoing violence faced by Indigenous communities in Canada, calling us take urgent action to address the systemic injustices that enable this crisis to persist.

I have never missed voting in an election since turning 18. Until yesterday I’ve never had to stand in line to vote. 2.5 hours, but democracy is worth every minute - great to see so many Canadians showing up for the advanced polls. This may be the most important election of our lifetimes. #ElbowsUp.
