Personally, I think that the Leetcode style interview is over-hated...and more beneficial than ever. It reduces target school bias which is observed in some other university-industry pipelines like finance.

Fascinating article. I was amazed to see that 50% of applicants copy-pasted this somewhere.

What are people's thoughts on how interviews will change going forward?

Day 3 of #Golang, and I've encountered enums and the 'iota' keyword for the first time!

const (
LevelTrace LogLevel = iota
LevelDebug = 1
LevelInfo = 2
LevelWarn = 3
LevelError = 4
)

A piece of what I was trying to make today!

So, it seems like Go uses Garbage Collection!

No malloc, calloc, or free required 😀

Day 2 of #golang !!

A lot of interesting thoughts are going through my mind as I go through a Tour Of Go, but I just had to say, I am in love with the ':=' operator for assignment within a function! Such a convenient QoL addition!

Additionally, I thought blogging about it on this website would be cool :)

My goal is to be proficient at writing code for distributed systems in Go by around April. Let's see if I can do it!
As the new year began, I thought it would be cool to start learning a new programming language, and so I picked #golang

I started writing code today, and I must say, it is quite different to other languages I've used. I will write about my experience by the time I reach pointers in "A Tour Of Go"!
