• Several key meiotic genes are directly regulated by the DREAM complex, revealing its central role in coordinating the meiotic program.
Given the conserved role of DREAM from plants to animals, we’re excited to deepen understanding of how meiosis is regulated throughout multicellular life.

Here are some highlights:
• DREAM activates MER3 transcription, and mutants show CO formation defects.
• Restoring MER3 in the mutant background partially rescues these recombination defects.
