I feel like in spite of web2 standards and so on, and despite the far improved user experiences enabled by them, the web still fails to achieve the level of purpose foreseen by its creator- after all, it achieves the level of purpose foreseen by corporate marketers, right?

How to import and use any (legacy) open-source software library using CMake:
- Step 1: git clone target library repo
- Step 2: rewrite the entire CMake script for the library. it's best if you just delete any existing scripts without looking at them; the devil just put those there to confuse you
