i just picked up some gooseberries so maybe THEY will cooperate

very cool! Gaillardia sp. blanket flowers (i've grown them but they didn't return after winter 😩). I've seen other flowers with that petal form before so ya some cross breeding may have happened 🤔 very interesting to see an old plant start to get weird with age.

I feel bad cuz I just mowed for the first time this year and had it set way too low :,) at least i can wait a lot longer until I mow again. & I compost the clippings
