Good news, Esme's doing a lot better! She's still got some sniffles, but otherwise she's eating and sleeping well, and is almost back to full cheek puffiness!

(I still feel like a the world's biggest asshole when I have to give her the daily antibiotics though)

ok! I think I got these from an artist's youtube many years ago but I can't remember who it was for the life of me. Anyways, I find this works pretty well for most brushes

I used to struggle with having to press too hard with the pencil too, would it be helpful if I were to share an image of the setting that worked for me?

Esme doesn't have pneumonia! But she did need subcutaneous fluids, an appetite stimulant, & a series of antibiotics/antivirals for the next few weeks.
She also received many compliments (all warranted) for how beautiful and good she was
