sorry this has been a lot about my dog today but it was her birthday and I hate thinking about her getting older

actually her temperament can be described as 'well I'm pretty sure she's part dachshund', but that doesn't work for people who don't understand it.

my sister and I both had scary experiences with dogs when we were younger so I'm always worried about them even appearing a little bit scary or something

I don't think she even growled or anything, just kind of stood there like okay sure. I'm pretty sure I saw my whole life flash before my eyes.

the second time we were on a walk and she was fine letting a toddler pet her, while bucky for some reason barked the whole time.

two of my...proudest? moments with her were when she patiently let small children pet her. there's no kids in my immediate family so I don't know if she's ever interacted with any.

but the first time she got ambushed on the other side of our car from me, and the child just ran up and grabbed her.

she definitely wanted the Big Dog chews and treats like bucky gets though, how do I explain to her that her brother is 60+ pounds and she is only 10

I do think getting bucky has taught belle how to actually be a dog though
