Yes, a very good outcome. If anyone can handle Trump, Mark Carney can. I don’t expect miracles and am prepared for turbulent times. I have utmost sympathy for Americans.

I’m in BC so I’m hoping that the Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario have clinched it once their results are known. Just getting on an inter island ferry to scrutineer for the Liberals at the vote count. We’re a highly polarized riding with a vote split.

My 52 yo daughter has 3C because she had to have part of her pancreas removed because a benign cyst was leaking and causing severe pancreatitis. This is a situation that she could not prevent.

I’m a Canadian who discovered CIDRAP during the early days of the covid pandemic. I know that you and CIDRAP are even more important now during the absolutely horrifying dismantling of research and public health.

Backyard flocks are being infected as well. Factory farming certainly makes the chickens more vulnerable with the crowding and stress. The pathogen has to come from somewhere. It doesn’t spontaneously just appear.

How is talking to Americans who are NPR listeners helpful? They are overwhelmingly liberal and will likely be supportive and sympathetic but have no power. They aren’t the audience we need to reach.

What? Trump is threatening Canada with annexation which includes access to our resources. We don’t think it’s a joke. He may use economic warfare to accomplish his aim but it is still belligerence.
