We have the cordless Phillips one for our 15 year old son. He likes it, said it’s easy to use and seems to do a good job.

As someone who moved from chch to Auckland (for hubbys work) just over 4 years ago. I can’t wait to move back south. Too muggy in summer 😆. Aucklanders think I’m crazy for wanting to go back south. Bring on the cold.

I was watching sky news last night and they were all grumpy with the result. Kind of depressing to watch, had the feel of a funeral.

I wish you were my neighbour! We have three little trees that produced 5 fruit. It will be years before we get anywhere near this quantity (I'm having to buy them).

When we moved to Chch the first question pp would ask is what school I went to. They lost interest pretty quick when I told them I didn’t grow up in chch. My hubby went to Lincoln, so I guess he can take pride in that!

We were planning to go to the USA for the fifa 2026 World Cup with our kids. Not now. We could go to the other countries hosting but just don’t want to support it.

We’ve had our Miele for almost 15 years and I have never had a problem with it. Front loader, I wash sheets and towels weekly and it manages it all. I highly recommend, we are a family of 4!

My hubby and I were just saying how strange it is to be agreeing with our mayor. But good on him, I’m pleased he spoke up.

Yep and it’s particularly sad to see knowing his professional background. Also asked me “why are they so mad”. He was being serious too! Arghh I just wanted to swear and run away. But I debated and he even said I made some good points but he still agreed with it.

One of my male relatives made a submission….in favour of the bill. Asked me “have the Māoris even read it”. Implying if they had they would actually support it 😩

Hard to believe it was that long ago!! We sleept in the car (think there were 4 of us). It was such a fizzer of a night for me.
