Is social media still a political echo chamber?

Collaborating across 7 institutes in the UK, Spain and Turkey, we published a new paper at the International Conference on Web & Social Media @icwsm.bsky.social "Cross-Partisan Interactions on Twitter"

Bluesky'da Twitter'da yaşadığım problemin aynısını yaşıyorum: sadece takip ettiklerimin tweetlerine bakacağım ama tek bir kişi günde 1000 tweet atarak anasayfayı ele geçiriyor.

Algoritmanın hazırladığı anasayfaya bakarsam ise takip etmediklerimin gönderilerini görüyorum.

The problem with Threads was that commercial accounts migrated before the genuine users and my timeline was full of memes. There was no opportunity to settle in the platform and have a joint experience with friends.

I feel the same vibe from the Discover section of Bsky, hopefully it will be better
