Good point. However we are not "post Covid" – the Covid pandemic is still ongoing. Labour dealt with the pandemic's emergency phase.

This graph shows estimated daily US Covid infections from 2020 to 2025. NZ was much lower for the pandemic's first two years, but would now have a similar pattern.

Just look at the chart in the second skeet in the original thread. It compares the scores from HCWs with long Covid versus the scores from HCWs without long Covid. Some of the HCWs in the study have long COVID, while others in the study do not. Otherwise they couldn't make this comparison.
