This is true. Wegovy was going to run $1500/month because my insurance doesn't cover it, like at all. They denied me Ozempic. I was thankfully finally authorized for Mounjaro which is $50/month with my insurance, but I had to jump through hoops to show I actually DO need it. 💀

I just paid $250 for extra strength Tylenol at the emergency room last Friday and was sent home because, while I'm anemic, I wasn't anemic *enough* to need a transfusion. :>
