Tuesday Vibes
@tuesdayvibes.bsky.social
It's just another Tuesday.
Life is like a storm, you bask in the sun one moment only to be smashed against the rocks the next. What defines you,is what you choose to do when that storm comes.
While the systems are often broken and harmful...you are not. Just remember the world is a better place because of the people like you

Haha, I just saw her today, and told her it looks awesome!

Nova Scotia Power just doxxed hundreds of thousands of people. There is a physical security threat that isn't getting talked about, especially when it comes to victims of intimate partner violence. In recent years, multiple municipalities have been hit with similar cyber attacks. We need change.

Yes, absolutely, that's right, but this election is almost certainly a one off. Especially the Bloc voters will most likely swing even a little back and the same for NDP. Even a small voter split could result in a conservative majority. That is just how the numbers are (if the cons voters stay high)

Not only that, but there is a real threat of the conservatives using the Not Withstanding Clause to get around the Supreme Court decisions. They have signaled this already. With Trump and his Exec Orders, it shows that their base will allow it. Progressives need to realize the dangers here.

It's clear from the numbers the Cons have locked in an almost equal amount of voter ceiling. However, they don't share it with other parties. Progressives need to figure out the vote splitting because these numbers are the new norm, and the next election will be worse splitting for Progressives.

I wish I could enjoy the win, but the con's #'s from last night shows next election (which could be early), vote splitting will give a Con majority. Poillieve could also take another riding through a safe by-election. This could be setting up the same scenario as Trump and the US. I hope I'm wrong.

Even if it holds, that is too razor thin to be able to hold a viable coalition. I wish that wasn't the case. There will be Liberal candidates who threaten to cross the floor if they don't get what they want. Canada needs a majority to deal properly with Trump. It's gonna be a rocky governments

If the Liberals get a minority, Poillieve will be calling for an election for next year. He will be hard to get out as leader because numbers wise he
is getting an unfortunately amount of votes nationally. I'm not sure I could handle a repeat of 2024 plus Trump....ehhh
