my computer bricked the other night. learned from the repair place that the drive is shot and needs replacing. they weren't able to save any data.
i have an external hard drive but it's about 6 months out of date or so.

splinted a broken leg on a cat today. thankfully it's a clean break rather than one with lots of little shattered pieces. poor baby needs about 8 weeks of highly restricted activity, but he got the best option for a bad time.
