Adobe CS6 was an 85% perfect product. They have to look busy to keep the money flowing to feed the way-too-huge corporation going.

They could have done a perfect cs7 and be done for a while.

But about 10y of subscriptions and updates and they have gotten it to 75% perfect.

They steal from the struggling people, we're just stealing it back.

Because they have been out of touch with reality for too long to try and come in contact with it now.

2) It's a vacuous way-too-oversized corporation that has been way too large for the past 10y.
All they really needed to do was CS7, then slow down the development of new versions to every 3-5y and offer paid for modular functionality for all the extra fluff nobody wants. Downsize and chill.

1) They get what they deserve. Metric tons of artists and creators here on which they trained their generative garbage Ai on. And it's the same AI garbage they pushed down everyone's gullet.
It's not as if they have been doing much right before that, either.

They just adopt every vapid marketing trend on, desperately trying to stay relevant. They did the same with "The Cloud" when every corporatist airhead was hyping it without really knowing what it is and why, and how much people don't want so many cloud services.

2)
The cloud features could have been a well integrated 10$/month extra feature. Everything you have done since was just grow unnecessarily while extorting the users and making random changes in UI and functionality to seem busy, to legitimise the subscription fees.

Shame on you.

There's absolutely no reason for Adobe to be such a large company. Except for corporate greed maybe.

CS6 was already 90% all anyone really asked for, a few tweaks and fixes here and there would have sufficed. A properly done CS7 would have made it too obvious there's no need for yearly releases.
