a typical function of this type of address is to ask Congress for legislation. Trump hasn't asked Congress for much and has acted like executive orders are a substitute. They are not, and this behavior is very alarming.

This is laughable. Writing my name on a cup isn’t going to change the shit coffee. Outside the convenience of a drive through, I do not understand why people choose this over local coffee shops where the coffee is so much better.
Starbucks is bringing back condiment bars after they were taken away during the height of the pandemic, and baristas will return to hand-writing customers’ names on their cups using Sharpies. Both changes are part of plans to reboot the coffee house vibe that’s diminished in recent years.

After the election I was communicating my discontent to my dad. He was adamant that it “won’t be that bad.” That they won’t “do all that stuff.” We’re on day 4 and they’re doing the stuff in project 2025 that supposedly 45 knew nothing about.

At the company I work for, we’ve adopted General Sans as our primary typeface (against my pushback based on legibility beyond headlines). Every *single* time I see the bold font, it screams Sprint and I instantly have flashbacks to my first big account. 🥲😱 I can’t escape.
