Last I heard, the First Amendment to the Constitution protects the right of the people to peaceably assemble and protest. It means we have the right to express our views through protests, marches, and demonstrations in public places.

I really hate Walmart. I haven’t set foot in a store since before the pandemic. Many here would love to have another choice for shopping. We have an IGA, but it is expensive and more often than not, doesn’t have everything you need on your shopping list.

As I said, this is a very rural area.Big name stores don’t do business in small towns. Driving 30+miles from groceries isn’t an option for many. Local produce markets are available, but they are also small,high priced,have very few offerings, and pitiful produce.

I would love to participate, however in our small TN rural town, Walmart is basically the mainstay for groceries without driving anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour away.

I'm in complete solidarity with Black consumers.The closest Target is an hour away, but I won't even go to their website or order online.
