It’s not a problem at all. It’s just that my network in the UK uses the term ‘Multilingual Learners’. It took me some time to adjust to the term as well.

May I suggest that you use the new term for EAL and refer to your students as ‘Multilingual Learners’? Just a suggestion, of course! Have an amazing conference!
