It’s a #fullmoon tonight ✨ get your spells ready
Image shows a nearly-full moon, taken in Los Angeles just after moonrise. The photo is underexposed so that the moon appears fully illuminated against a black field. The moon shines with a pale, butter yellow hue. The moon’s infamous “silent sea”, known as Lunar Maria are visibly darker on the moon’s surface. The maria are the youngest geologic features on the Moon, formed between 3.1 and 3.9 billion years ago, and were formed by lava filling ancient impact basins created by large asteroid collisions.

Good afternoon and hello from one of my children 🐝 #beekeeping
Photo shows and extreme macro shot of a honeybee gathering nectar from an alien-looking passionfruit flower. The bee is covered in microscopic fuzzy hairs, to which grains of pollen cling. Her face is hidden inside the bowl of the flower, where she draws the nectar. Her golden and black striped abdomen are illuminated by warm afternoon sunlight.

my house is in the process of getting repainted top to bottom, which means i haven’t had fresh #flowers for a couple weeks… These will have to do for now ☺️ back to my weekly blooms next week
