Got out for some serious, much needed outdoors time over the weekend. Mostly avoided the news, did a lot of hiking and a tiny bit of Xmas shopping. A much needed breather.

Short road trip up north to go hiking for our anniversary. Ludington State park has some great hiking trails, beach to dune to forest.

Grand Rapids, MI - not a good crowd size photo, but it was huge. Lots of photographers on the ground and on top of building so I am sure there will be better crowd photos

No Kings, Grand Rapids MI. It doesn't look like much from this photo, but it was HUGE. AND we didn't get the rain they predicted. Yay!

Our daughter is in Cairo for a few days, then on to Luxor. Quite an adventure. We so happy we raised a traveler!
