Being able to just READ your own stuff without the critical eye is the best feeling! And then sometimes to find yourself *stunned* at some of the words in front of you, like, "Holy crap, I did this???"

(But Spawn also really digs Led Zeppelin, ELO, Beatles, KORN, Stevie, and Dreamtheater, just to name a few of his other influences.) He’s still playing music to this day, currently putting a new band together.

Popping in to add that my 19 year old got into music *because* of Billy Joel. When he was 8, he was messing around on a keyboard and declared out of nowhere that he wanted a piano. I said if he learned the intro to Angry Young Man, I’d get him one. Guess who got a (thrifted) piano 1 month later?
