I have this ranked pretty high. It's up there with Kettlehouse '23 as my favorite Thatch (Cap from 4/9/24 and Swanzey from 6/14/24 are also damn good).

I did the same thing with the Hungersite from Kansas City. I kinda forgot about it after the summer run, and then relistened to a bunch of stuff, and what do you know... look who's going to the big show.

I've got it somewhere around 20 on mine. I like the Moma Dance vibes of the San Diego Red Bird better myself, but that's just me. Be interested to see if it makes the cut.

I hear ya. I've got plenty of great jams on my list that I know others won't have (Miami Butter Rum)... and plenty that didn't make my cut because I don't love them... or simply because I need a break from a song I hear at every other show (Cleveland Arrow). Looking forward to the tournament!

I haven't ranked mine yet, but if I'm throwing some favorites into the ring... Inside Out from Kansas, Atlas Dogs from Raleigh, Thatch from Cincy, One In One Out from Kettlehouse, Rum from Miami, Creatures from Portland, Red Bird from San Diego, Wysteria from Maine, Rockdale from New Haven, etc...

This is a "jumping back on the wagon" thing. I was doing well in the summer (75+ miles), but then got Covid and hurt knee/leg/ankle and took a break.

Agreed... that Thatch is in my Top Ten for the year. Running Up That Hill > Engborg > Sinnerman is one of my favorite three-song runs from the year. Don't sleep on that Tea... even if it doesn't get mentioned next month.
