May I suggest adding Paul Redditt's Introduction to the Prophets to any reading of the OT and Green & McDonald's The World of the New Testament to any reading of the NT? Also, plug any chapter and verse into Google Scholar to find recent scholarly treatments.

"Ecosystem" -> "echo system" may be more accurate and avoids the appropriation of scientific terms for nonscientific purposes.
