Added color to her! I definitely dont feel comfortable enough with lighting or shading yet to attempt that though so this will probably be it for this piece 😅

Day 6:
Finished up the Tsunomaki Watame drawing from yesterday! I redid the lines for her hair and face and added a bean bag for her to sat back in. Also changed the mouth and I think it fits a little better!

I'm gonna try drawing Watame again, there's an idea that I had in mind that I want to try drawing for her. Hopefully it turns out alright 😅 Not sure if it will be done by tonight because I want to try and make this one look as good as possible. May even try adding color this time (LOL)

Day 5 of learning to draw!
I wanted to try and draw Summer Hasumi's L2D scene as the first attempt of learning how to draw bodies. I used a 3D model in CSP to help assist me in making sure her body looked correct!

Today I'm gonna try to draw Hasumi again! I want to try to do her L2D screen for the summer version. I'll try to use some of the 3D models in Clip Studio to help me draw her body better. I'm scared that it might feel like cheating though so I'm going to try and understand how to draw it!

Probably the final post for day 4 here. Did another maid privaty from Nikke. I wanted to try and draw her in a cutesy manner this time. Doing this one though I became very aware of my lack of anatomy knowledge and will probably start trying to learn some of that here soon!

Summer Hasumi! She has a lot of strands of hair and more narrow eyes with a longer face so I wanted to try her as well! Originally the face was a little smaller but I changed it part way through drawing it to make it look more natural! I really wanted to draw more of her but ran out of space 🥲

I also really like how I did these eyes! All the other ones have been me trying to copy something in front of me where this one was me trying to make something myself! There were definitely some attempts for them that were... not good though 😅 I really hope I can keep this up and improve further!
I felt that the head shape and style in the last post wasn't really something that would fit with how I want to go forward with drawing so I tried making some changes. I made the jaw smaller and eyes larger to see if it would look better. I've been missing Priconne lately too so here's Karyl!

Tried drawing on a tablet. Feels a little different but being able to undo or move things around and resize them is really nice! Gonna try some more on it and hope to be able to apply it to paper!

Not gonna be able to get too much practice in today since I'm going to a Magic pre-release for the new set. Hopefully I get some good pulls at least! Maybe I can doodle some in between rounds (LOL)

Tried drawing Frima using some of what I learned today so far. Her sleepy eyes was a little difficult so I ended up using her favorite item scene instead for a reference.

Watched a video by Oridays and they mentioned trying the box method for heads to get the shape right. I definitely need to work on my cubes if I'm doing this (LOL). I feel like it gives it more structure though so it might be worth continuing with this method!

Day 2:
Starting off with drawing just eyes and eyebrows. I used the in game art for the characters since there are so many different styles of eyes and lashes to choose from. The brows and irises need to be worked on but I feel happy with the shape! Plenty of day left to practice more!

The next few days I think I need to just focus on faces and eyes. I want to be able to feel comfortable just drawing them and confident enough to repeatedly do so. I'll try looking for some references of characters looking in different directions and different expressions tonight.

One last art post for today. I tried doing Crown in her Glorious Flower costume. I saw a pose that looked like it would fit her and wanted to try it out. She has really long and curly hair so I tried showing some of that. Still a bunch I need to learn but I'm satisfied with how Day 1 has gone!

I wanted to start with drawing one of my favorite characters in NIKKE, Privaty, specifically her maid alt. I can tell there's a lot I need to work on, especially when it comes to faces so I think I want to work on that before moving to anatomy. I want them to at least look attractive.
