Trying to take the rust off my aseprite. Same character as yesterday.
Pretty sure Bluesky's image compression will murder the hell out of this, but the original was made in a 128x128 canvas and is about 90 pixels high, the upscaled version is 400% the original size.

Playing around with colors and layers over a very simplified/stylized drawing.
Not bad for a sketch, not having to draw hands or pose a body helps a lot. Still took longer than what I expected, but learning to use Krita has been very fun. Colorize Mask ftw.

Those are some dancing legs right there. Love these little guys.
The girl is yet to be named, but she will have the blackened hands and feet if I can discover some way to render them in a readable way.

Made a girl based on the south american Maned Wolf (Lobo Guará) with unusually long limbs. I plan to color her hands and feet in a darker color.

Made the squarest mfer I could muster because I felt like it. A Square MacJaw type, maybe I'll even name him that.
Playing around with Krita's soft tip pencil brushes, made me a bit nostalgic about drawing on paper, except I have CTRL+Z over here.

Wanted to draw something a bit brighter, easier and lighthearted today. Still took one and a half hour to finish because of my wobbly lines. Also tested Krita's screentone brush

Wanted to play around with simple shapes and shading. The exaggerated proportions are there because this will double down as a base for a pixel art sprite.
I think I failed to properly stylize it tho, as the end result feels more like a normal person wearing a big mascot mask.
