Seriously, keeping a bag clean is already challenging enough when it's made of leather and you can (in theory) just wipe it off

A big part of the reason why I prefer a written message to a call as a first contact attempt is because I will not do this. If I'm out of the office in a public space, and you ring, I'm going to have to call you back. If you message me, you'll probably get me right away.
