Observing others who are ensnared by the same struggles—struggles presented as solvable but lacking straightforward solutions—reinforces this sentiment. When solutions do emerge, they often come with a multitude of new, arduous obstacles.

It is not a matter of lacking the desire or will to transform; rather, it is the pervasive sense that I am incapable of doing so.
Increasingly, it feels as if my path is already predetermined.

The only action I feel capable of taking is to resist the instincts that drive me toward behaviors that do not benefit me. Yet, despite reflecting on these thoughts repeatedly, meaningful change remains elusive.
