Hammerhead sharks actually don’t have a spiracles — it’s why I said it’s present in *most* species xD. It’s because they’re ram ventilators (need to continuously swim to push fresh water through their gills) as opposed to buccal pumping (pushes water through spiracle). here’s a good spiracle photo
