Won’t a ratio mean to be simplified to the smallest term , for example 3:6 isn’t it should be written as 1:2, 9:12 should be 3:4 and 30:33 should be 10:11? Isn’t it so, then n:n+3 won’t hold for anything other than 2:5 for this problem. That’s what I feel.
