Farmland is a monoculture. I know a local farmer who doesn’t want birds or insects on his pristine fields. Weeds and wildflowers are sprayed, swans frightened off with swam scarers throughout the spring. He is a genuinely nice bloke but at war with nature.

Standby to watch the care sector colllapse. Local authorities cannot afford to pay anymore in care home fees, the only homes that will survive will charge enormous amounts of money. Some do already, however good homes have a proportion of beds saved for local authority rates.

Trump didn’t vote himself into the White House. It’s not a surprise that he is this vindictive. Americans knew what they were signing up for and most don’t care about Europe and Ukrainian lives.
