Never expect I could see Macro Economics from Google Trends. 2020 had the least christmas market search compare to all the years due to covid.

As a dev, coding the automation myself is "definitely cheaper" than using zapier/make.com so I spent 3-4 hours to code a email to notion automation 💀💀
And obviously majority of the code is done via Claude + Cursor :D

Despite all the hate for Vercel from everyone, I’ve been hosting many personal automation there.
Simply because Next.js is my most familiar tech stack, and fast coding and launching is important to me.
It's not as quick as PHP for deployments but I'm ok with 2 mins wait.

I think one of the best learning from @levels.io in @arvidkahl.bsky.social's interview was to consistently bet against the crowd and won. When everyone zigged, he zagged. And this impacted how I am going to build in public 🧵

I'm currently at day 16 and there are tremendous benefits for myself
- extra 2-3 deep focus hours per day 🤯
- a lot more disciplined, all my other productivity habits are followed strictly 💪
- Self confidence, dropped like 4kg in 2 weeks 🏄♂️
