The way the room went crazy when we realized what was happening!!!!! 🤠 Such great work from the @hungmonyeg lion dancers 🦁 at Not Your Average Lunar New Year Banquet @yeg.lny.banquet on the weekend! 🐴 🐎 I truly believe this is the first time Chinese lion dancers have ever danced to the iconic Cadillac Ranch. 🎶 And of course it would happen where else but in Alberta. 😅🤠This song’s popularity is actually so very Albertan, do you remember learning the line dance in school? It was in Edmonton curriculums! But apparently didn’t catch on at least as much elsewhere compared to here in Western Canada. lol what a surprising and delightful treat to see this performance. aaaaaand then I made poor life choices deciding to go get groceries in -15 windchill with my nose uncovered
