Zero chance. If anything, he feels proud. The man is a monster. If he had any shred of dignity or integrity, he wouldn't have done half the things he did in his political career.

There are so many unanswered questions. The #Epstein files is a glimpse into a massive failure to properly investigate these criminals. The world, not just American citizens, deserves transparent answers as to what happened and how this happened.

Well, I guess the only thing we can do now is send #Maxwell back to Club Fed...

This whole #Epstein fiasco is infuriating, to say the least.

He kept the Pats in the game. There was a missed opportunity for an interception when he knocked the ball to the ground by the endzone. That was the biggest (only?) mistake I saw from him in the game.

He put forth a commendable effort imo

I am a firm believer that we need to resolve this #Epstein fiasco, but we also need a 9/11 style commission to get to the bottom of why and how it was not properly investigated.

Otherwise, we will have another similar event build up over the next 20 years.
February 9, 2026 at 6:45 PM
Yeah, I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist because that is entirely plausible.

What I do want is an answer backed by evidence. The entire #Epstein files dump seems entirely devoid of any actual investigation into ANYTHING. No bank logs, no call logs, no GPS logs, nothing.

I am talking about this document. Epstein died on Sat Aug 10, yet this states Fri Aug 9. To get the date # wrong is understandable. To get the day of the week wrong is real off.

To get them BOTH wrong is extremely concerning.

Did you see that document announcing his death a day prior to it occurring? Absolutely wild stuff. That one there needs answering.

Here's to hoping #Trump 's support craters before our economy does because of his inept governance
February 9, 2026 at 6:28 PM
Crazy thing is #Trump points to a record stock market as if every president in the past half century hasn't presided over a record stock market.

It would be news worthy if there WASN'T a record stock market during his term.

Having one is meaningless, even before realizing it's a bubble.
February 9, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Hell, Americans want no part of #Trump's USA
February 9, 2026 at 6:21 PM
Whoa, whoa, whoa, get outta here with that misinterpretation. They didn't call them weird.

They accurately identified the fact that they _are weird._
February 9, 2026 at 6:20 PM
I would wager #LindsayGraham is compromised for sure. He flipped on a dime after a single private retreat with #Trump
February 9, 2026 at 6:15 PM
There's been leaks that they are also afraid of actual death threats. That when they have opposed #Trump, his rabid fanbase has turned their sights on them.

I say suck it up. They ask the military to go in harms way constantly. The least they can do is accept some risk to do the right thing.
February 9, 2026 at 6:13 PM
There it is. The #Epstein bribe is out in the open for everyone to see.

I will not be the least bit shocked if #Trump pardons her. This administration has an insatiable thirst for #corruption unlike anything we have ever seen.

Those agents can go right to jail. This is unacceptable behavior.

This is what you get when you put clowns in charge of the government.

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people." -Commander William Adama

The real world could learn from art

6/ These sorts of systems are not new in the world. We have many real world examples to learn from/implement. It would ease the burden on businesses and citizens. Not to mention reduce the risk of identify theft.

I wager the reduction in identify theft alone would pay for such a system. /end
February 9, 2026 at 5:49 PM
5/ This is similar to a use case for SSNs. If we had a system similar to the above, you'd never have to give your SSN to anyone. You'd give them a one-time code they use to verify with the gov.

And suddenly, no more worries about your SSN being leaked because no one has it.
February 9, 2026 at 5:47 PM
4/ In reality, the gov could retain logs of the citizen's request. Or barring that, track the requests back to the sender via traditional methods. So it still takes trust in the gov on that side.

Discord (or companies like it) never has access to the citizen's info. Nothing for them to leak
February 9, 2026 at 5:46 PM
3/ I trimmed the above to make it fit, but in essence, neither Discord nor the government know who the citizen is in the end.

The gov knows who the citizen is when they make the initial request, but they don't know who the citizen is when Discord sends the code for verification.

In isolation ofc
February 9, 2026 at 5:44 PM
2/ In broad terms, it would work like this:

The citizen gets encrypted, one-time code from gov, gives it to Discord.

Discord sends code to gov API to verify they are of age.

Gov responds yea/nay.

Discord never has identifiable info of citizen.

Gov doesn't know which citizen started the request

I will say it once more: What good is oversight if it requires the majority to enforce it?

This has been a long-standing problem with congressional oversight, and it needs to be addressed.
