Bristol City Councillor for Avonmouth and Lawrence Weston. Labour. Slowly migrating for now.
Very old school at the Co-op party stand in Liverpool!

Legitimately cannot remember the last time I had a Polaroid of me...

If you're part of the Labour Party and you haven't joined, sign yourself up as soon as possible.

Bristol Waste are doing excellent work at the new materials recycling point at the Avonmouth Reuse and Recycling Centre.

Should mean bigger, quicker, more consistent recycling rounds for residents in Avonmouth and Lawrence Weston and north Bristol as a whole - a big improvement on Albert Rd!

Today is the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia Intersex-phobia and Transphobia - or #Idahobit which is a hell of an acronym.

Given the ongoing threats to LGBTQ individuals to this day, it's important to stand up and be counted. Let people love. Don't give into hate. It's that simple.

For a better Britain, for change, to keep Farage fuming, and (if you're in WECA) to get Helen Godwin elected as a fantastic regional mayor...for all of these reasons and more...

#VoteLabour

And happy International Workers' Day too, on that count.

Hear hear.

If there is one thing I hear in every part of my ward it's concerns about fly tipping.

While we need to tackle the causes of this behaviour and help people sort out their rubbish - not likely helped by reduced bin collections - deterrence has its place and this is an excellent step!

Great to welcome @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social to Bristol.

A strong showing for @helengt.bsky.social - the best candidate for West of England Mayor!

Even has her name in lights...close enough.

Polling day is this Thursday, 1st May. If you want better transport, better infrastructure - vote Labour! 🌹

I appreciate the temperate, moderate language here.

On the other hand, I am enraged because the Supreme Court decision is an act of supreme moral cowardice.

The Labour Party must now stand up for trans rights and swiftly work to protect against discrimination and transportation through law.
