Shae Morequecho NPC twin sister of Rhovan, and owner of the Sinner's Respite- a sex and body positive entertainment venue and tavern in Kerrigin. Usually seen with little to nothing on or mens clothing, she's made quite the impression on the city. Although a successful business owner, her passion is music and dance and is usually the opening act for her performers. Shae is an unskilled caster, and while she's briefly able to glance through surface memories, doing it too often (more then twice a day) makes her incredibly sick.

Dwinraka is the last original soldiers of Barazabbad still fighting. During the initial siege this librarian turned freedom fighter gathered all knowledge she could. Every book, journal, statue, art piece, and had them all brought to the library. As the doors to the mountain were broken door she sealed herself in and has not emerged. Paths were developed to her from the survivors where they bring her supplies, and she keeps hope alive by secretly teaching the young that make it to her as much as she can. She's in direct communication with the Rangers that Zririe placed to watch over the mountain and will give the word the second a rebellion is sparked. Zririe can't intervene according to the treaty until the Zharrhand call for aide. She has read every book in the library and memorized their locations over the years. She lost her arm in the initial assault while trying to defend the La Fae researchers that were helping her. Tanakana developed and made a rudimentary but functional replacement for her with stolen scrap. Dwinraka is an olden dwarven woman who keeps her face clean shaven and hair short and neat and pulled back into braids. she wears simple handmade clothes but presents herself as put together and dresses as she would have as a librarian. Ralin is Tanakana's best friend and basically sister. A professional jeweler, she has a softer job then her friends but is able to gather more information from dourhands. She keeps her beard short but clasped, and prefers not to wear a mustache. While she has a big heart, she's bull headed and bullying is a love language. She has the most lashes out of the friend group, and she's not afraid to stand up and get in the way of others to get in trouble and distract the dourhands from their initial target. Ralin does her best to stand out and dyes her clothes in bright colors to do so. Her relationship with Tana is soft in private, the two cuddling often to stay warm in the mountain. She is one of the few that know of his chronic pain and the only one he tells of his time with Baelil. Haund is Tanakana's adoptive father. After the initial siege of Barazabbad, he and several others tried to take their families and flee to find aide. Turned away from Zririe, their oldest allies, they went to A'olenora- but the scarred city thought them another attack from the Dourhands and attacked the unarmed group. Haund lost his wife and child and most of his friends before the Dourhands that followed at their heels joined the fray, causing the elves to retreat and place a barrier to hide the city. The beaten Zharrhands were forced to retreat, and Haund was forced to leave the bodies of his wife and child behind. He would escape as often as he could to travel to the wood to search for the battle site. After several years, he found a lost elvish boy lost in the woods wandering alone with a book, and after trying over several days, he had to retreat one last time to the mountain, but now with a son. Haund is kind, but incredibly protective. He has a well placed fear of elves and is nervous for his son around them after what they have done to them both. He cares deeply for his people and wears his beard short in mourning, but keeps his hair in a long braid in support of his son. He has pale red hair with soft grays, and his job as a guard puts him in shape. He has never said a word, but he carries the most lashes in the mountain.

Farrim is one of the oldest survivors in Barazabbad, and the doctor of the Zharrhand. Although well passed his prime, he's a determined and diligent worker who cares far too deeply about his people. Farrim is depected as a very elderly dwarf wearing an oversized green sweater over a rust colored turtleneck and high waisted tan trousers and stretched out fabric boots. His head is bald on his crown with liverspots and a ring of white hair twinged with the fading fire red it once was. his beard is kept short in mourning. Kukir is Tanakana's oldest friend and they work together in the mines. He's a straight arrow, quiet and reserved and often trying to keep Tana and Ralin in check. He's had a crush on Ralin for years, but with the absence of a T'saror he's never admitted his feelings. Kukir worries often, and quickly rushes to protect any of the other Zharrhand's. Often he volunteers for guard duty on the quarterly deliveries. Kukir is bald on top with a chest length red beard always kept in clasps or braids neatly. He has piercings on his right ear (Ralin did it) and is quite muscular. He stays in shape, and trains often to be strong. Oberjarl Orrvak Lurgargnak, Dragon's Bane is the Dourhand war chief that organized the war 300 years prior. He devised a three point attack with far too many supporters and allies, including the orc tribes that demolished Danfall (Dralic's island home), spread out the rest of the countries defences far too thin, and took over the once wealthy and scholarly Barazabbad-which did not have a formal army in place due to the proximity to Zirie. He's responsible for the genocide of the Zharrhand and subjugation of their people. He's directly responsible for the attack on A'olenora, a devastating blow that would eventually cause the city to hide itself for over 200 years. He's not a good man. But is so charismatic he can fool anyone into thinking he is. The Oberjarl wears golden chains of past kings over a mantle of fur and velvet. He has long braids and ornate and beautifully twisted locks. While heavy in the middle, he is incredibly powerful and uses half the lower jaw of a young dragon as a club. Overseer Sporr is one of the handlers of the Zharrhand that has a special interest and hatred to Tanakana for being elven. We don't like him.
