It's difficult to describe because it was more like a digital sensation. It's not something I would call objectively bad but I played a lot of Mirror's Edge where the feeling of landing after a big jump and the movement going into the run, taking the speed of my jump into account created a flow.

We're really similar in taste so doesn't mean a huge amount that we agreed on this. It was just something I noticed happening several times where there would be a sudden leap or sudden halt like my momentum stopped mattering because I hit a trigger like attacking near an enemy or clipping a ledge.

There were a lot of instances of jumping from a platform to another where it felt like I should have gotten more distance but as soon as my feet clipped the ground all forward momentum stopped. Then I'd just have the momentum of me running again. I was playing with my friend and he felt it too.

Overall: Very fun, that was the only real criticism I had but since movement is such a big part of the game it was a consistent point of conversation.

Okay so I tried the demo and absolutely loved the vibes of the game and P has a great aesthetic. But my feet felt magnetized to the ground which made a lot of the platforming feel kind of clunky. I don't know if that's intentional design but it made my friend and me dying more than we felt we should
