The powers were separate and the Constitution was in place back when criminals were commonly executed. This is what needs to be done to fix this problem. It has nothing to do with the separation of powers. It has everything to do with the fact that idiots have decided crime is beautiful.

Does this seem to you a separate problem from politics? Did this worthless creature end up a judge because she's such a great lawyer? Wait, not a lawyer. Perhaps because she's so wise, her judgement can be trusted because she has been so fair and perspicacious in other areas?

This is the mayor, both justifying her murder of the girl and laying the groundwork for murdering more people in the same way. If that worthless garbage was "mentally ill", then who decided to let him stroll around the streets freely anyhow? Women did.

The woman mayor and the woman judge were more closely responsible for this murder than "men". "Men" would have executed that animal early in his criminal life. They didn't because people like you would complain if they did.
