Everytime I do my daily tsalagai flashcard review I always go man people actually have spoken this language for forever and I can barely string together a sentence or have gripes about how complex a verb is to unpack. Keeping at it but man is it not easy

Just a quick thought: Go learn even a bit of Native American language local to your area(with obviously respecting the wishes of the local tribes) does way more than any land acknowledgment can ever do. Languages is culture speaking the language celebrates and honors the culture

One of my favorite fact of the Tsalagi(Cherokee Language) is there is a prefix to indicate a motion away from speaker and towards speaker(wi vs di). Like you can say to someone go(hena lit you imperative stem go)wi-hena(leave away from my direction) #cherokeelanguage
