Do you tend to see vascular dysfunction as preceding (and contributing to) things like impaired waste clearance and reduced tissue integrity, or as a consequence of other neurovascular unit dysfunctions? I'm curious about the "steps along the way" to neurovascular dysfunction and neurodegeneration.
