Oh they *could* do things. They just largely have their heads up their asses. You have people like Amy K insisting that what we really need is bipartisanship and then we’ve got assholes like John Fetterman voting to confirm Pam Bondi as AG. They need to be *fighting*. They’re not.

Made some sourdough penne alla vodka tonight! Came out beautifully!
Modifications:
-1 cup of heavy cream
-1/2 cup vodka
-5-6 garlic cloves
-Put Italian seasoning in with the tomatoes. Put more in after the heavy cream and grated cheese.
-Add in salt at the end to pick it up and lock it all in

I got an InstantPot for Christmas so I figured I’d take it for a spin! Made some InstantPot Lemon Asparagus risotto last night. It came out well! I burned the garlic and shallots on my first pass…but was able to toss those in the trash, restart, and fix it with little disruption! :-)

I may or may not (definitely may!) be a bit wine-buzzed on some cheap shit nonsense Winco wine my wife bought…but hot damn, Bluesky is so refreshing compared to The Hellsite™️. I only wish I’d abandoned that shithole like 6-9 months prior to when I finally pulled the plug on that dumpster fire!
