Sounds about right, as the spread of mis- and disinformation is a catalyst for increasing many of the other risks, and also is an obstacle to addressing and finding a solution to them.

Far from having become a tool for Habermas type public sphere (Öffentlichkeit), social media & algorithms polarise the discourse on every topic. In favour of leftist policies? Or rightist? Both. Towards extremes. In sum, a political sociological earthquake, changing the foundations of everything.

Fast forward to today, and you can easily reach 100+ or 1000+ or even millions of people at once with the push of a button, reaching the recipients effectively and instantly on their phones. Moreover, many tend to read many of the things coming from complete strangers shouting on social media.
