The looks of concern are due to me acting nuts at the news that my short story, “What a Doll,” was accepted to be published in the second volume of The Writers’ Journal! Here’s the first sentence to whet your appetites for the story, coming out later this summer: “The Crone’s bringing her machete.”

Here’s our tripawd, Hiccup, with his favorite person (my kid). He has some carpal laxity in his remaining front leg. Does anyone have a brace you recommend to help that tendon straighten out?
