The Icelandic national team manager job race is heating up.

Three managers are in contention and have interviewed Arnar Gunnlaugsson, Freyr Alexandersson and a foreign candidate (widely believed to be Janne Andersson).

Freyr is also reportedly interviewing for the Brann job

Vísir journalist Óskar Ófeigur Jónsson has compiled a set of stats to sum up Åge Hareide's reign in charge of the national team vs other managers post-2000.

Interestingly, Hareide's team has the 3rd highest win perc and in number of goals scored. A bit lower for goals conceded, sitting in 6th.

Destined for bigger things, and is being linked with clubs in the big leagues already now and will likely move on January
