It is the naivety of some of the voting public. Or, more specifically, those who obey in advance, are shocked by human evil and truly believe that capitalists or govt. ever take our well being and best interests to heart to begin with.

It is hopeful that 20 did, I guess. 1/5 of the senate, under direct pressure and threats from AIPAC that there would be retribution if they supported Bernie's arms embargo.
