The ‘he didn’t ask for a trade’ argument is so disingenuous.. Sure, he might not have said ‘trade me,’ but he might as well have by saying he wouldn’t re-sign and only wanted to go to the Spurs. If he hadn’t made his singular preference clear, the Kings could’ve received better value for him.
