Ever since I saw the Typeframe (a DIY writerdeck or cyberdeck), I wanted to build one. And so I did! I tweaked the design here and there to fit what I had on hand and my tastes. Here's the result. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Feeling better today, but still not well enough to do most things. I have the feeling this is going to drag till the weekend. At least it is probably not Covid. I did the test, but only once so it could be wrong.

I am still down with this virus or whatever it is. No way of #streaming tonight and probably tomorrow either.

I am definitely sick, no #stream later tonight, let's see how it goes.

The last couple of days feeling sick, because of course I am, throat hurts, nose is problematic, breathing harder. Today it's worse.
I hope it is not covid, because that will piss me off.

Good morning.

You know what I miss from home computing in the 1980s and early 1990s? Not having access to the internet and having focus on the software alone and not the OS. The OS was there, when it was there, just for everything else to run on. Nothing more. I miss the simplicity and efficiency of it all.

Like most people, I'm putting together a low-poly post apocalyptic submarine simulator in Godot at the moment. #godot #indiedev

I’ve been holding on to this 2009 Apple Xserve in my office at work for a long time. Maybe it’s time to think about letting it go to someone who might use it for something more practical than a place to hold boxes. #Apple #Macintosh

Instant #coffee is the coffee I drink 99.99% of the time.
Usually the cheapest I can find as for years now I can't find Maxwell House at a price which isn't daylight robbery, if at all.

I just tried this #Nescafe Rich Caramel. Big mistake. It tastes too good to have in moderation.

So far "AI" has:
- taken the jobs of thousands if not millions and more to go.
- is the cause of computer hardware prices going up and continue to go up for at least few years.
- make people less likely to think
- destroys software, including OS
- ip theft
Morons still support it.

We’d like to say another thank you to Bob Ross Inc. for donating an original Bob Ross painting to our auction for public media! Their incredible generosity has “Cabin at Sunset” currently going for over a million dollars, with bidding continuing until Monday at 11:59pm. Bob & Peapod would be proud!

To clarify, I am not against artificial intelligence. I am against the usage of a.i. to hurt others or to take away from others.

Also in case we reach a point where artificial intelligence gets to the point that it could be considered alive, how do we stop it from becoming a living slave.
