Finally got to see NOBODY 2 & loved every frame. This one ups the action on every level while also keeping the comedic beats. Timo Tjahjanto brings his signature style & slick camera movements that elevates the action in ways only Timo can. The fight scene with the Offspring needle drop is perfect.

CAUGHT STEALING is a gritty, stylish, crime thriller that fully delivers & is extremely entertaining. Aronofsky is back in top form with razor-sharp direction while perfectly capturing the 90s NYC setting. It’s Austin Butler’s performance that anchors the chaos with real depth & emotion.

#Weapons is so incredibly good & one that’s had me thinking since I saw it. It’s unnerving, tense & suspenseful with some genuinely funny moments. Zach Cregger’s direction stands out with confidence, his visual style is just as sharp as his writing. Easily one of my favorite films of the year.

#NowWatching: WEAPONS. Extremely hyped for this one as I’m a huge fan of BARBARIAN. Probably one of my favorite horror movies in recent years coupled with a great theatrical experience. Hoping WEAPONS is as good as everyone is saying.

Actually got a day off to catch up with a fantastic double feature. FINALLY watched HEART EYES & COMPANION & really liked both. The romcom nods mixed with a brutal slasher story & killer soundtrack works incredibly well in Heart Eyes. Companion is filled with great twists, turns & lead performances.

Added these to the collection within the last few days. Now I just need to find time to watch them. I always have & always will support physical media.
June 25, 2025 at 4:22 AM
It’s been a great week but Wick is Pain is the definite highlight with The Life of Chuck close behind.
June 21, 2025 at 4:39 PM
DIABLO absolutely delivers with incredible action & great performances from Adkins & Zaror. The direction, fight scenes, & stunt work are top tier which is no surprise but the story also packs a punch. Easily the best action movie of the year so far. It made for the perfect Father’s Day watch.

BALLERINA is incredibly fun & the inventive action levels it up in many ways, plus it's great seeing Keanu back in Wick mode. The story is definitely surface level, been there, done that but the action more than makes up for it. Plus, Ana De Armas absolutely kills it (no pun intended) on every level

These were by far my favorites. Really loved both of them. Sinners has stayed with me & I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack.
May 1, 2025 at 4:46 AM
Finally saw SINNERS in IMAX! Absolutely worth it! It’s a stunning, incredible, cinematic experience, unlike anything I’ve seen recently. Coogler is working at the absolute top of his game on every level. Michael B Jordan is phenomenal. The score & music really shine as the true star though. Loved it

HAVOC is a blood soaked, gritty crime noir with some fantastic action beats, fight scenes & gnarly kills. It’s a further testament & showcase to what a phenomenal director Gareth Evans is.The night club scene is the definite highlight in the movie. Of course, Tom Hardy shines as always.
April 26, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Extremely pumped for HAVOC tomorrow. It’s been such an anticipated film for me for awhile now. Given the long wait for it & Gareth Evans perfect track record as writer/director my expectations are high. I’m fairly confident it will be worth the wait & I’m looking forward to everyone’s reactions.

A WORKING MAN is Statham & Ayer working in top form making this my favorite movie of the year so far. The action/fight scenes are incredibly well shot & edited. The script by Stallone & Ayer packs a punch but surprisingly has a heartfelt core to it. Hopefully Ayer & Statham continue working together
March 29, 2025 at 12:27 AM
It’s definitely been a good week! Love when that happens.
March 28, 2025 at 11:27 PM
#NowWatching WRATH OF MAN. Finally watching the Shout 4K. Figured it was a perfect time to watch one of my favorite Statham & Ritchie movies, with A Working Man releasing and Mobland premiering Sunday. Ritchie’s script for Wrath is so good along with Christopher Benstead’s searing score.

Still thinking about Black Bag, it’s so good. Makes me wanna go through and do a Soderbergh rewatch.
March 22, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Black Bag is a fantastic, tightly wound, smart spy thriller filled with great performances but it’s Marisa Abela who surprisingly steals the movie. Everyone brings their absolute A game, the incredibly smart script, score, and of course Soderbergh not only directing but editing with perfection.

#NowWatching HEIST. Filling in a massive blindspot. One of the few Mamet movies I never got around to seeing. Also wanted to continue with the Gene Hackman movies.
March 4, 2025 at 10:47 PM
THE MONKEY is absolutely bananas in all the best ways possible. It’s darkly funny & twisted, filled with some insanely outrageous & gnarly kills. Perkins perfectly balances the absurdity, comedy & horror. Theo James is terrific, giving 2 wildly entertaining performances as Hal & Bill. #Filmsky

Recently added these to the collection. Looking forward to a 4K rewatch on The Cell & the Tarantino ones. Wild at Heart was a blind buy for me, never saw it but always wanted to.
January 23, 2025 at 10:54 PM
Den of Thieves 2 is so good from Butler’s performance to the action & the score, it’s firing on all cylinders. The car chase sequence is incredible & Gudegast films it with such precision. The needle drop at the end got me, it’s the perfect touch to a great movie. The perfect movie to kick off 2025.
January 10, 2025 at 2:14 PM
It finally arrived after getting delayed. This one was a blind buy for me & the only Mann film I’ve never seen. Looking forward to watching it.
